What is "Private number calling"?
JAJAH does not reveal its member's phone numbers.
For example; when a user searches for another member's number, in the search results JAJAH will not disclose the full number in order to protect the privacy of its members.
The call can still be made by clicking the number as it appears.
Why do I need a nickname?
Having a screenname will enable other users to search and find you within the fast-growing JAJAH community. In order to maintain your privacy, JAJAH will not enable a search by your name. This is why we recommend having a meaningful nickname that will make it easier to search for you.
How do I search for a JAJAH User?
When a member wishes to locate another JAJAH member, they can look for them with typing their e-mail or screenname. From the search results you can then add the one you wish to your address book and dial, or simply dial directly from the search results list by clicking the number you want.
How do I search for a business in JAJAH?
When a member wishes to find a business somewhere in Europe or the US, they can enter the name or branch of the business they are looking for, as well as the desired country and click search. The closest results will be shown as a list. You can then add the one you wish to your address book and dial, or simply dial directly from the search results list by clicking the number you want.
Can I search for any member I want in JAJAH?
You can search for any JAJAH member who is listed in the JAJAH address book.
What types of business can I search for?

How can I make sure my numbers do not list in JAJAH address book?
You have an option in your "General Settings" whether you wish to list your numbers in the JAJAH address book. This option is always reversible.
When attempting to call a number who was first available and then changed to anonymous, the person dialing will receive a message "user declines receiving calls".
Can I block only certain numbers for certain people to see?
The anonymous option is per member/account. At the moment it is not possible to have some blocked and some not.
Can someone just add me to their address book?
Yes. As long as you did not turn your account to be anonymous by choosing to not be listed in JAJAH address book, it can show up in any search results. If a user was added to someone else's address book and later unlisted him/herself, they will no longer be call-able from other people's address books.
