How do I use JAJAH Direct?
It’s very simple. Call the
local JAJAH Direct number, enter the number you want to call and JAJAH connects you.

What does ”local JAJAH Direct number” mean?
Local JAJAH Direct number means that you dial a local number and we will connect you to your international or long distance number. Now you can call this long distance or global calls each time from your landline or mobile (registered with JAJAH) while saving money and without adding this service to your existing phone plan or dialing a long series of numbers.
How do I sign up for JAJAH Direct?
There is no special sign up process for JAJAH Direct. Once you are a registered JAJAH user, you can use JAJAH Direct as well as the other JAJAH services, including Buttons, Mobile Web, scheduled calls etc. To register for JAJAH,

Why should I use JAJAH Direct?

Can I use JAJAH Direct from any phone?
Yes, as long as you’re using a registered number in your account. You can call the local JAJAH Direct number from any landline or mobile phone.
Can I use JAJAH Direct from any country?
JAJAH Direct currently supports more than 20 countries with local numbers and in those areas, you can make calls to destinations in more than 120 countries. Check the list of

to determine if you are in a JAJAH Direct area. We’re regularly adding more countries where we offer JAJAH Direct, so check back often.
Do I need a long distance carrier to use JAJAH Direct?
No. You just need to be check that the JAJAH Direct number offered in your area is considered to be a local call by your carrier. JAJAH will connect you to your long distance or international number, and will do this at very low rates.
When I dial from a mobile phone, is there an extra fee?
Many mobile phone and landline carriers offer nationwide plans that allow you to call any number in your country at the same flat rate. In this case, you will just pay a local or flat rate or a per-minute fee for mobile use to call the JAJAH Direct number. If you don’t have a nationwide plan, you may be charged a long distance rate to call a number outside your area code. If you’re not sure, check with your provider to see if you will pay a long distance rate to call a number outside your area code.
Are there any maintenance fees?
No. Unlike some calling cards or phone plans, there are no maintenance fees with JAJAH Direct. With JAJAH you pay as you go.
Can I make local calls into the same country as I am in?
Yes. JAJAH Direct can be used to make local, regional, state-to-state and international calls to anywhere in the world.
Do rates differ depending on the time of day or the day of the week?
No. JAJAH offers the same rates 24 hours a day 7 days a week, saving you up to 98% of your traditional calling costs.
Can I recharge my account?
Yes – You can add additional funds to your account using your phone or by going to

Do I need to unblock my Caller ID to use JAJAH Direct?
Yes, you need to unblock your caller ID. In the U.S., you can do so by dialing *82 followed by the local JAJAH Direct number. For further assistance on unblocking your caller ID, check with your provider.
Can I store the JAJAH Direct number to my Speed Dial?
Yes – You can store this number in the same way you store any other number.
How can I see my call history?
To see your call history, go to
www.jajah.com, log into your account > My Account > Call History.
Can I safely top up my account without the use of a PC?
Yes. All online transactions via PC or phone are protected with the highest level of industry-standard encryption.
How is JAJAH Direct different than calling cards?
Calling cards are a prepaid method of making a long distance (domestic or international) call. Calling cards have many hidden expenses such as connection fees, usage fees, or daily fees. With JAJAH Direct, you pay as you go.
