What is a scheduled call? What is it good for?

The scheduled call feature allows you to plan your JAJAH calls ahead of time. With JAJAH scheduled calls, you can program the date, time and to what destination number JAJAH will connect your call. Never forget a planned call again!

How do I set up a scheduled call?

To set up a scheduled call, first log into your JAJAH account, then choose your source number, choose your destination country and type in your destination number (just as you do in a regular JAJAH call). Now click the “Schedule this call” link, and choose set the time and date of your call. You can also send yourself a text message reminder before the call. When finished, click the green “SET” button. You will now see a list of your scheduled calls. If you wish to delete a scheduled call, simply click the “delete” link next to the corresponding line and confirm your selection.

When I want to schedule a call, I need to enter the time. Do I need to take any time offsets (GMT, EST etc.) into consideration?

No, as long as the time on your computer is set to your local time, JAJAH will recognize which time zone you are in. The scheduled call time is calculated according to the date and time as it appears on the computer you are connected to. This means that if the local time on your computer is 9:00 AM when you set the scheduled call, and you schedule the call for 11:00 AM, JAJAH will calculate the difference between the local time on the computer you are using and the time that you specified.

Is there any additional cost to a scheduled call?

No. A scheduled call costs the same as a regular JAJAH call. Please note that the JAJAH Free Global Calling does not apply to scheduled calls. The only additional charge associated with the scheduled call feature is if you choose to receive scheduled call reminders via SMS (text message).

Is there a limited number of scheduled calls I can set?

No. You can set as many scheduled calls as you like.
